This high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) plate comprises a C18 Silica layer. The Nano-Silica 60 has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, particle size of 2-10um, and pH stability of 2-10. The surface has been 100% treated with an octadecyl silane so that it is a reversed phase material. This analytical hard layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 200um and dimensions of 10x10cm. There are 25 plates per pack. Alumina Neutral (pH 6-8) with UV254, preparative, glass backed TLC plates. The coating thickness is 1000um and dimensions are 20x20cm. There are 15 plates per pack. Applications include: terpenes, alkaloids, steroids, aliphatic and aromatic compounds. To ensure sufficient adherence an inert organic binder is added to the aqueous suspension for coating. The aluminum oxide layer has a specific surface of about 200 m2/g (BET) and a pore size of about 60A. To activate the aluminum oxide layer, we recommend heating the TLC plates for 10 minutes at 120C.

This thin layer chromatography (TLC) plate comprises a C18-W (Wettable) Silica layer. It can be used in both normal phase or reversed phase separations with eluents from anhydrous solvents to mixtures with high concentrations of water. The relative polarity of the eluent determines the polarity of the layer. The Silica 60 has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, particle size of 2-10um, and pH stability of 2-10. The TLC plates contain UV254 fluorescent indicator. The UV-absorbing substances appear as dark-blue to black spots on a light - blue background. This analytical layer is bound to an aluminum support. This analytical extra hard layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 250um and dimensions of 5x10cm. There are 50 plates per pack. The layer has an outstanding hardness and is abrasion resistant due to an optimized binder system. The plate can be easily labeled with a lead pencil for clear identification. There is an increased separation efficiency due to an optimized particle size distribution.
